Le Couloubret Baths comprise a thermo-recreational area, where you can enjoy the thermal waters of Ax-les-Thermes. This is the place to come for a restful time that's also good for you! The water is heated naturally to between 33 and 38°C. To offer the best possible experience, the baths are divided into 3 sections.
The first is on the ground floor, which, among other things, houses the main 200m² pool, with its geysers, bubbles and swan necks. Also on this floor are three other baths: one of these contains cold water, another has water at a temperature of 38°C, and there is also a vaporarium.
Outside, you'll find an amphitheatre pool, which has the same jets as the main pool, but which also has counter-current swimming. There's also a panoramic pool, also with jets. Above all though, it has a solarium, providing spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
Visitors aged 16 and over can also use the first floor, where there is a Roman-Irish bath, a hammam, a sauna and a wellness area. You can have various treatments in this area (facials, body treatments, massages etc.). And there are also aquagym lessons, so you can carry on with your sessions even while on holiday in the Ariège!
